Dear Sisters,
Dear Sisters,
It is a long time since we have heard from you and we wonder what you are doing and how you all are. We have not heard this month! Hope you are all comfortable and that Mary is better than when Jennie wrote last. Hope we shall hear soon. Think I have written twice since hearing from you.

We have just had one of the best rains since we have been in the state. Tuesday morning we had a fine, gentle rain and that night it rained harder. Last night it rained hard the greater part of the night. Our cistern is full. Eagle creek is too high to ford. The rain was very much needed.
