Opt. H. H. F. report's that at 8:30 he started out found | Opt. H. H. F. report's that at 8:30 he started out found Frisly at the Corner of Fox St. and B-way talking to Reed. they left there and went to Youngs Cigar Store![[:?]] at 9:15 Opt went around town until 11.30 a.m. without seeing any of the men. then Opt met Mortimer [[T?]] asmer and Dumphy at Fox St. Bridge and they all went out to Farrellls saloon. had some beer. -- Dumphy told Opt that the Company had issued a notice that they were willing to take 300 of the old men back and pay them what they struck for. but the Brotherhood wants all or none. and would stick to it to the letter:[[!?]] That the Company would in a short time be in the hands of a receiver if they did not take the old men back.: that accident upon accident happened to the exte[[i?]]nt of 3 or 4 per day. that no company could stand that any length of time![[:?]] A stranger stepped up to the party and asked, if those men (meaning Bowles et al, ) really did not what they were accused of. if not, that: |
