Here I am on the St. Lawrence, about which I have heard so much! Bessie and I arrived in safety. on Thursday about 5.40. She was so good the whole way, we started at 12.22 - & had two changes to make - Clarence, Loney?, Mr. & Mrs. Williams met us at the Depot. Ella had overslept. This is a lovely spot such a stretch of water, and the hotel quite near it The hotel is very badly managed. I went out on the [[grass?]] with Clarence the first evening and enjoyed it so much all my timidity is gone. We intended going to Kingston today, but we did not feel quite well enough - I had to keep my room almost all yesterday. twice quite sick. Today I am much better | |||
