Dear Mary,

We received your letter yesterday morning - are very anxious about you lest you make yourself sick - wish you could get some one to help you for a little while at least. It is very hard for us to say what we can do - we have made no arrangement. I have written this morning to see if we can get Davis for a while - we have quite a little set on second form and hope to have the next number out early - then, if possible, Cynthia and I will try to make you that promised visit. We would like very much to see you and know a little better how it is with you. The roads are not yet so that we can take the horse to the village. Cynthia is pretty feeble you know.
