Your letter of the 13th inst, recd, We regret exceedingly that we have been unable to pay you the Bal. due from the Seminary. You probably know that we were in Debt when you left about $400.. for Furniture & fixtures - we have been compelled to pay this debt the past winter & we now hope to be able to pay you very soon, we are about to make a special effort to raise money for this object, If you will forbear a little longer you shall be paid in full | |||
