Dear John Eddie | We did not get your card until Sat. Indeed we only got our mail twice last week, (Tues. and Sat.) as George went away Monday and William was so poorly. Mrs R.R. Roberts was buried last Tuesday, and Anna went down afoot to the funeral. The roads were so soft they could not take the horses any farther than Frank Evans. Men & boys had to draw the sleighs from there to Fairchild. William is getting better slowly but he does not get over this spell very fast. He finds it pretty tough work to do the chores. Dear John Eddie
We did not get your card until Sat. You ask if we would like to have you come home before the term closes.
