Dear Sir
I address you in regard
to the resolution passed at the last regular meting
of the N. Y. State Daguerreau Association in
relation to pictures for exebition at the next
Worlds Fair.  To be held in N. York next May.
It reads thus- "Each member of the Association
be requested to furnish one picture 1/2 or 4/4
size all of which are to be [[set?]]-in one large hand-
some frame, and exhibited at the Fair.
Pictures to be put up in Gold [[bhased?]] mats frame
rise and sent to our sec (G.N. Barnard Aswego)
The name of each contribution to be be placed on
the frame and the whole to be known as the property
and work of the Association.
Now friend, be punctual, the Association
can send as good picture as any that will be
produced, and by making a little effort beat
the World and, thereby elevate the Association
to a high position, and our names will be
read of through all the world. 
Each member will send word to the sec., on
or before the first of April the size he intends
to send so that the frame, can be got up, and
by the 13th of April the picture for it
