10th Sunday Got a | 10th Sunday Got a cup of coffee & feel better. A delightful day. It is just one hundred miles to the Mouth from New Orleans - Find quite a number passengers on deck mostly French & Spanish - We passed the Eleanor Shannon which had run in to an Iron clad vessel at the foot of Canal St - It had floated quite a distance down stream, & the Banks are strewn with cotton. We could not hear whether any lives were lost, although the Boat was a complete wreck. Passed the Monument of Jackson (Andrew) it is just about | ||
