Teusday June 8th
Our Weather is fine -- all in health but me -- I am here with my ankles.  Mr Feild called at four to say Good bye -- I went down to see him -- our butter came to day -- my new chip hat has come -- I am sick in bed with sprained ankles, and Rheumatism.  Mr Bigelow called to night to say Good bye -- he leaves for New York.
Wednesday June 10th
Fine Weather.  all well but me -- I am still troubled with Rheumatism sent for Dr Small.  he thinks I will soon be well -- Mr [[?]] Vandervoght called also Miss Byford.  Hattie gone to Barbers to have her hair curled for the club at Mr Herfoot,s to night -- my children will not go.  heard from Mr Badger.  I will write him to day.  Hattie did not go. it looked like rain.
Thursday June 11th
Another fine day -- I still in bed -- with inflamatory Rheumatism  Mrs & Miss Rogers called -- Miss Ward Mrs D. Goodwin & Mrs Ely.  Mr A. D. Hunt called to see me from Louisville.
Friday June 12th
Again fine Weather -- I still in bed with my Rheumatic fever. Ella Badger came in to spend some days -- received a letter from Mr Badger with Jamie Stanwoods picture in it  Mr Hunt called --
Saturday June 13th
A beautiful day -- Ella. Hattie. Belle. & Eva gone to spend the day with Father Badger.  they returned late.  Mr Hunt called -- also Licinia  she came to tell me she had been with Mr Hilton, to see the house he had bought on Wabash near the corner of Jackson.  a very handsome stone house -- four stories high  cost fourteen thousand -- they have also bought some of the furniture.

Saturday June 6th 1863.

It is a pretty bright morning -- we are all in health. we stayed at Father Badgers last night untill twelve O. clock -- all came home in an Omnibus. had a pleasant evening -- at six O. clock Mr Feild came to tea -- also Walter & Brackett -- after tea we all went to the Theatre quite a large party -- returned home at eleven found my Father had arrived from Louisville. we have cream Champagne & cakes.

Sunday June 7th 1863.

Went to Trinity Church with Mrs James Badger & my Father -- in going down my front stairs -- I slipped and strained both ankles -- and in trying to save myself I sprained both wrists. but did not feel hurt after dinner went out to West End with all our party.

Monday June 8th 1863
