annotation Nathaneil is a brother of Robt Everett or his wife, Elizabeth /annotation Rosa, March 1, 1871. Dear Bro^r

I believe that my sister has informed you some time back that Rosa was to be sold by auction and the house where she resides as well, both being the property of the same person, - both were sold in Oct^r last - she will be obliged to look out for a house, and I shall be obliged to leave old Rosa. I expect to receive a Notice next May to quit the land the 29th of Nov&r next and the house and premises in May 1871. I am afraid when the time comes that I shall feel rather flat unless something turns out favorable before that time.

As I shall have a little less care on me next-summer, I feel a strong
