been reading lately? Anything new? I have used some of Rose's works, and like them very much indeed. High ho! How I do run on. I guess you will be tired enough as you get [[unclear]]. If on lost it in the mail basket. We have got a "early" visiting from Lorra. One of [[unclear]] Robert Ellis' saw about thirty years old- a genuine [[unclear]]. Bright, lively, & full of fun- splendid good company. He came with out our knowing or expecting him and at more of the Ellis' here had even seen him before. He asks every once in a while if we are not afraid he is an imposter. [[unclear]] Ruth and I are taking lessons in shooting with him. Have got as what we can kill our man if he comes near [[unclear]] & we don't happen to [[unclear]]

Bright, lively, & full of fun- splendid good company. He came with out our knowing or expecting him and as none of the Ellis' here had even seen him before. He asks every once in a while if we are not afraid he is an impostor tramp &c. Ruth and I are taking lessons in shooting with him. Have got so that we can kill our man if he comes near enoug & we don't happen to miss him - every time
