warriors repair to a stream of water, and plunge themselves seven times, 4 times with their heads to the east and 3 times with their heads to the west. This being done all repaired to their homes, and associate with their wives & friends as usual, being purified from the defilements of war. None must touch or eat the flesh of the deer till the sacrifice was offered. Br. Nutsawi |
