If at an early age when the tender care of an affectionate mother is most needed by an untimely stroke of death she sinks into the grave if in a few years by many and repeated misfortune a tender father heart is broke and he dies a prey to grief if to be left helpless orphans dependant on the charity of an unpitying world at a time when we are just emerging from childhood when more than ever we need an affectionate counsellor who is interested in our welfare if this be light affliction my beloved brothers and sisters acknowledge that we have not known sorrow but if it is deep affliction then we have known bitter sorrow -- None can judge of sorrow but such as doth it put, none else apply a cordial that can affliction heal.
