The want of S. Schools in our western vallies is very great for our youth are growing up in great ignorance of God & the Bible, & the claims of true religion. The S. S. is a powerful auxiliary in the great and important work of Home evangelization and eminently successful wherever it is faithfully applied. To give you a view of our S. S. missionary work, allow me, briefly to detail our lectures. In exploring our settlements, we find, an elligible place where a S. S. is much needed.
