Sir, Statue the liberty to request the [faur] of you to report to the Gen Secretary of War, the [accompauring] documents, as the [exprefuion]  of sentiment on the part of the Chewkee people, of the mode of paying the annuity due the nation and to whom. Having been informed that the payment of this money will be made through you, it is to be hoped that the Department will transmit the same to you without further delay, with instructions to pay the same over to [w] John Martin, the  Treasurer of the Nation.
