Mrs Houston has invited Mrs Moore, Mr Jacob (John) and, regret Mr Bloom to dinner, regret [[blank]] Our party consisted of Mr & Mrs Houston Belle and Allan. Mrs Shreve and Mrs A.C. Badger, Mr Bland Ballard. Mr Courtney, Mr Ackers, and Mrs Sherley Moore. Belle and Mrs Houston had many Gentlemen callers, this afternoon after supper Belle had many callers some young Ladies called too, Mr & Mrs Swearingen called after supper and stayed a long time. Ada looks well now. and seems very happy. Talks of taking a class of scholars in her Sunday school. My cough is ugly to night. it holds on so strong. Last winter I had it at Kenilworth, I went to Oak Park to see Mrs Heilton, the Steam Cars had every window open. the wind poured through I took cold, and it holds on, I have been very free from coughs. before | ||
