Thursday [[ | Thursday [[18th?]] Yesterday I went around the grove to view the place where our people expected to build if they should buy the place it is a delightful view you can for 80 miles one way where the prairie is interspersed with small groves on one hand nothing can be seen but the [[?]] prairi, this is on this side of the grove is very pretty spring of water and that works for building spots but I think the land much to plain and level to be healthy we were in hopes our people will not buy the place there on going through the timber found that it was not compact but many points of water which if nothing else will render it very unhealthy the flies and very troublesome people who go | ||
