The weather in this section of Texas is most pleasant, except for an occasional cold spell, which is known as a "norther." When the wind from the gulf of Mexico swings to the north, the temperature drops but the coldest it has been this winter was 26 degrees and I want to tell you that we nearly froze, the sudden change from the nice balmy weather to below freezing sending us hunting for shelter.
