Dearest Irene;
Dearest Irene; My trip to Chicago seems to have brought me good luck. Today I got very friendly and reassuring letters from both [[ManleyAaron??]] and Elise, and my heart is a great deal lighter. If they will buy me a little cordial , I will go so much more that way! Also I found a very reassuring letter from McNeny. I am sending you his letter and Hugo's by another mail, so that if Annie should talk to you and Carrie you would know all about the situation. Please send Bernard's [[McNeny]] letter back to me, as I wish to file it.
