Bakst is distinctly 'modern' in his painting, you know, and [[?]] fanciful.  He won't as a [[?]] likeness for anybody.  Yet I think this picture will look like me in the end.

Bakst [[Leon Bakst]]is distinctly “modern” in his painting, you know, and rather fanciful.  He won't do a photographic likeness for anybody.  Yet I think this picture will look like me in the end.   Of course the Omaha people won't be satisfied - people never are with a portrait,  but they ought to know his name well enough to be glad to have a picture by him.
