Dear [[N?]] [[S?]]  I am almost vexed this morning for your part of the mail has all been sent to Beverly I have just written to the P.M. to send it back - the Bishop says that Alfred Marshall [[?]] [[me?]] & Alfred says he did not that the Bishop did it but he told him to send it to Belpre but he understood to Beverly I shall get it Monday I expect

I should have written you the first of the week but have been waiting to hear again from [[?]]  The French teacher from Clinton has written he came also [[?]] In [[?]] don't come [[?]] expect? [[?]] have to commence with

Towne I think we shall have him for teacher tho, perhaps

also - If Mr. Towne don't come I expect I shall have to commence with what assistance I can get till they find some-
one - Mr. Towne is the only one that has written to come -  Mr.
Barron is coming & is to have the house that Mr. Scott used to live in
