Dear Mr. Hitz:

I wish you'd persuade the weather man to make the elements behave in a normal way out here. We do not have two sunny days together, and there is no use in planning a trip to town, the bank, the Capital, etc. when in the morning the thermometer reads 10 [degrees], the ground is white, the walks icy, a gale blowing. Really, though, if one must be a grouch, the weather is a safe subject.

The old Couries gives "Little Brothers" etc. as I copied it (region and Golden). I think the printer made a mistake about region, as legend is mor logical in that phrase; but golden seems better to me than olden, since olden and that once were mine" are repetitive (somewhat). The slip must have been made in the Courier print shop; don't you think so? Or both errors might have been made by a stenographer, on account of the sounds. legend-region, etc.

Dear Mr. Hitz:

I wish you'd persuade the weather man to make the elements behave in a normal way out here. We do not have two sunny days together, and there is no use in planning a trip to town, the bank, the Capitol, etc. when in the morning the thermometer reads 10 [degrees], the ground is white, the walks icy, a gale blowing. Really, though, if one must be a grouch, the weather is a safe subject.

The old Courier underlined gives "Little Brother" etc. as I copied it (region underlined and Golden underlined). I think the printer made a mistake about region underlined, as legend underlined is more logical in that phrase; but golden underlined seems better to me than olden underlined , since olden underlined and that struck out - of being ago once were mine" are repetitive (somewhat). The slip must have been made in the Courier underlined print shop; don't you think so? Or both errors might have been made by a stenographer, on account of the sounds. legend-region,underlined etc.

Yours truly Flora Bullock
