John is going to a funeral today so I just drop you a line lest - it - be several days before he goes again, He was able to go by the ford yesterday and today he and Shafer are going that way in the wagon. It is so much nearer than the other way that it will make it easier for John. He churned twice yesterday besides going to town horseback. It rained a little in the night, same this a.m. [[I?]] & Mary and Shafer staying home. German is going to an all day meeting in the Quaker church, about 5 miles the other way from town, towards Lane. and Mrs. Huddleton too. They will be saved a little when John Edwrd is there. So Geo. Prichard is married! Have you seen him since? Do any of the Prichards ever come to see you? Who preached for you since Davies left? Does Wm. Price and Ellen sometimes visit you. How is Lydia? Why did she never answer my letter? Doesnt Hannah think my last worth answering?
