The Senate has not acted upon the Indian question, but its Indian Committee have reported a Constitutional Amendment prohibiting any State from make qualifications as to voting or holding office, on account of race, color of previous condition of servitude. | ||

Sheridan has contracted with Shirely [underline] for furnishing 12, 000 bushels of Corn here [underline] (for 10th Cav.) - 2000 bus. per month, commencing March 1st. Price $2.75.
