I want to see if I can arrange to prospect [underline] a certain canyon near Cash Springs Ten years ago I met a Mr. Houri here who drove Col. McClan train in or about 1856 & after carried the dispatches through that trail Mr. Houri in 1872 told me of the ore found by himself & Col. McClellam which assayed in Santa Fe 85% silver, after geting a close insption of the Lake Valley Mines in Donna Anna Co. N.
