My last letters from Charles told me of hard times, and how he was struggling to get along. I guess he has scarcely the comforts of life. Chandler is going to send him some money I guess. Poor boy ! I'm sorry for him. His health is not very good either. His little boys are a great comfort to him. And smart as traps.
