Dear Jack -
Got your Christmas card from -via- Fran Koch.  Thing is, I moved a long time ago but they only forward letters for a year.  Anyway, I reciprocate season's greetings.
--Should have the issue of [[underlined:  December]] with your piece in it out in about two weeks.  Should be a good issue, too.
--Missed you on TV the other night but Jay watched it and said you were in excellent form.  I will catch it for sure when they re-run it.
--Nothing to report here.  Life goes on uneventfully.  Been out of work six months now.  Naturally hope to find something soon but had the same hopes six months ago.
--Jay and I were wondering if you would be receiving visitors in the next few weeks over a weekend.  We were hoping to be able to drive down some time at your convenience within the next month (this month, I mean).  Let me know if it's possible or not possible & we'll proceed from there.
--In any case, hope all is in control in Moberly.  It's not all that in control in Chicago, as I'm sure you know.
