Dear

in red pen Jack Conroy/ thanks for the kind words about #46. Walter's

poem has provoked quite a reaction --all good. Several years ago we
saw a special section on Phil Weidman, and I think his work arrow pointing to next page or over
                                                                                                                              Marvin Malone : Editor

The Wormwood Review is a little magazine of poetry and experimental prose with an international circulation.. It is not a vanity mag and it is a mag made for reading. Only 70c offset-printed copies are made of each issue and we do not send out free copies or samples. Single copies are $1.50 postpaid anywhere. A regular one-year, four-issue subscription costs $3.50 (individuals) and $5.50 (institutions). What else of comparable value can an individual or an institution buy at those prices today? Patrons' subscriptions are available for $12 with each issue's yellow-paper special-section signed.

Wormwood guarantees to publish 4 issues per year, but they are usually mailed out two-at-a-time (to save postage and mailing costs) and at irregular intervals. Complete sets of Wormwood have now sold for $130 on the rare book market and certain of the signed patron issues bring prices of $10-25 each. University Microfilms of Ann Arbor, Michigan now has a microfilm edition available.

We do not have a staff and cannot undertake extensive correspondence and cannot criticize manuscripts. We average about 2,000 submissions per issue. All poets must enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with their work to insure its safe return. If you do not want your manuscripts re- turned, please state this clearly in a covering note.
