She asked me why I didn't go over to the new gallery Macbeth had started. It seems that Macbeth got rather sensitive about being ther hangout for academic painters so he started a new gallery downstairs which he calls the Gallery of living American Painters. I think it is still a little conservative but they sell pictures and it is a good location. The man in charge Mr. Danforth said he liked my work very much and I made arrangements to send up things in September. They both liked both my watercolors best. I think the two oils I showed them were a little too loose for them. I have also got another project which won't cost me any money and there is a slim chance
