Dear Mr. Conroy,
Dear Mr. Conroy,
     Thank you for your letter.  The poet story was thrun [sic] into the ash-heap, and another is taking its place - a thing called "The Great Hopscotch Mystery."
     Thank you for your letter.  The poet story was thrun [sic] into the ash-heap, and another is taking its place - a thing called "The Great Hopscotch Mystery."   Mr. Snodgrass is a detective in this one,  has a very proper kit, and looks for clues in everything.  But Mrs. Snodgrass is very happy about the whole thing.
    "I'm glad," she said to herself, "he's decided to give up being a magician.  He was always wanting to saw somebody in half."
    And thank you for telling me about Miss Stewart of Reilly and Lee.
