I realize myself through a process of torrential production–perhaps there are better ways but that is my way–I believe eventually my way–and it would be wrong to worry a lot doing it Flaubert's way, or Hemingway's way, or Henry James way, Nevertheless, I do worry, as we all do, about my improvement–I want to be a better writer, a less wasteful writer, a surer writer, a cleaner writer, a more disciplined writer– and I believe and hope that may come through work? words?.
