Dear Jack - I've been glad to see your "Disinherited" reprinted - It may get a large audience by now, when there is a whole generation that doesn't know anything about the 30's. I still think your book is a document and must be read by any student of those times. I liked Aaron's introduction - I suppose it's rather skillful - Hope everything is all right for you and Gladys - We are getting some rest right now in our Normandy house, in view of a more important trip to Egypt, due next month - we are reading books of all sorts about Egypt but I still feel very ignorant. Five thousand years of history is rather heavy to digest, though fascinating.
