I could bring a collection of contemporary French pictures of the very best quality but I would have to have a guarantee of at least $10000 purchases. I have works of Matisse, Derain, Segonzac, [[unclear]], Pascin Bouard, [[unclear]], Laurencin Braque Picasso. The purchase of any two of these would nearly satisfy the amount. My dear Miss Roullies- Replying to your letter of October 24th. I am not certain of making an exhibition of paintings in Chicago but might consider it under certain conditions. I could bring a collection of contemporary French pictures of the very best quality but I would have to have a guarantee of at least $10000 purchases.
