a package of wild flowers from our dear Fanny Stearns. They came by mail and were postmarked at Chester, N.H.. The flowers were Epigaea repens, the New England May flower. Sweet, modest and lovely little flowers, fit emblems of her who sent them forth on their mission of kind remembrance.

  There has been a very interesting state of religious awakening in this city, all the latter part of winter and spring.  Hundreds have professed hope in our blessed Savior.  The interest still continues.
