May 10th 1858 Dear cousin Your favor of May [[unclear] was received last Saturday and I only wish that with it could have come yourself and sister. he looked for you some but I hardly thought you would come and so I [[unclear]] not so much disappointed he were glad however to hear from you You say you are about changing [[President?]] and that Mr [[unclear]] has been elected and you would like very much to know what father thinks of him.
