Tuesday 12 - Daylight - Whilst retiring to Cypress B. Met two signatories (Canadians) & they informed us that we were within 3 miles of Mons Claude N Pelots' - got there to breakfast - The Prairies about here are somewhat [?] & Black sandy - pastures good for cattle - back at M. Pelot 39 [?] - Cypress Bayou is wrongly laid down - it runs into spring creek - 3 miles above its junction with the San Jacinto - Mill Creek runs into Spring N. of Pilots |
