Dear Mary Things are as the [sic] were when you left. It looks sure for an indictment early next week. Of couse there might be a slip, but I dont think so. Will keep you posted. I beleive I can win & of course shall give them a good fight am getting back my spirits & my grit, but somehow I cant help the thought, that if it comes it will be for the best & I will then do my best work - perhaps it is necessary.
