Tis the Methodist Conference Meeting here now- All the Pulpits here | Tis the Methodist Conference Meeting here now- All the Pulpits here & in Brewer I believe were filled by Methodist Ministers today Professors Shepard & Harris gone to Boston to the Meetings_ I have been but one morning & two evening meetings- Some of the family did go pretty constantly before I came but both the Children have been sick_ Lucy is considerably better _ Irving is gaining some but is very nervous & unstable. They have to hold him in their laps all day long- have not bee able to get him down on the bed even when asleep in the daytime | ||
Hattie | Hattie & Mary are both here now Mary is going away to Binghampton next week in Company with S, & his wife- It looks cold & dreary here for the season but it has changed considerably in a week & another week if warm |
