had our pictures taken with them on the davenport. glad to hear about your trip this summer. we have the garden things all in we have lots of flowers yet, the frost didnt get to us and we had a lovely warm Oct. havent tried our hubbard squash yet as we have had the acorn and summer squash we had carrots, beets and turnips some of them yet we are getting tired of them. we have been getting frozen vegetables for a change, the kitten on the letter is is so cute I am keeping it.

I am sending you some of the mums from the seeds from Holland you sent me for my peace garden.  they are different than I expected.  I was so afraid they wouldent blossom before a frost came. now they are covered with these little blossoms.  how are your's I suppose they blossomed a long time ago.
Edd got some kidney medicine and his back is better.  my throat dont get any better yet.  I dont try to talk very much and Edd dont hear me at all.  I have to write everything I say to him.  that is the reason I am so slow in getting any letters written to my friends.   Mr. Tallman called on us I suppose he is down there by this time, would like to see you very much  good night with much love, Gerrie and Edd
