Dear Mummie,

Missed sending your $5.00 last week so will send $10.00 this week either Thursday or Friday.
Continue to feel well except for a few pains occasionally which I believe to be false labor pains, as described in your nursing lectures. Did a big washing Friday and have just finished washing up kitchen floor this morning. Hope to keep on with all my work until the day arrives - believe I will be better off by doing so.
Blanket arrived O.K. Many thanks. Have fixed it in the crib. It is heavy enough to cover the oilcloth over the mattress and will do nicely for Tunsilu to lie on. Then can use the other blankets to cover over him-her. Washed some of the baby things that needed it and have fixed the wrappers with new tape for tying and have sewed small clasp fastener at the neck, which will be handier than the safety pin and looks better. Am going to make spread
