Adam was t figure of him that was to come. Says our Apos. in t. words preceeding t text. Therefore being Justified by faith we have peace with G. through our Lord Jesus Ct. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, & rejoice in hope of t glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience, & patience experience, & experience hope, & hope maketh not ashamed bec. t. love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost wh. is given unto us. After declaring their christian standing in this way he says verse 8th God commendeth his
