Before that a men's chorus sang some college and nursery songs, followed by news from all over the world by a British broadcaster, using the peculiar accent Mr. Ingham used. It was quite an experience, for I had no program, but just tuned in and happened to get it by short wave. My radio is an increasing joy, as you can imagine. | |||
