Dottie was making buttons of the same cloth as of trimming for Mrs. Riffle's dress. I'll want 6 small buttons, 4 for the front and 2 for the sleeves as I'm having a long sleeve to the wrist with cuff. Didn't use the pattern you cut as hadn't enough goods. Am having gored skirt instead, and made much like the one Clara gave me the goods for several years ago. Do you see the bugs in the pattern? I didn't notice them until Mrs. Renfro showed them to me. Sears, Roebach has the metal foundation for the buttons.

8:50 Wed a.m.  Ironed two of the nylon curtains left of the ones Lucille sent me some time ago. The other two were in rags. Lately got some cretonne from Sears and have made new cushion covers for several cushions. Have enough left to make two drapes to take the place of the ragged curtains. Lovely day and must go to the barber and also deposit my "Aid."
