II Let us apply the principle in a general manner -

1. To the marriage relation itself - "Two one flesh" -
2. To the Old and New Testaments - are one
3. To the general body or system of truth - is one
4. Faith and Eternal life - are one   "He that believeth hath"
5. Faith and baptism  are one  "He that believeth and is baptised."
6. Faith and works.  are one   Faith works.  Acceptable works grow out of faith.  Works. objective - and subjective.
7. Seed Sowing and harvest.   "Whatsoever a man soweth" &c
