imagination | imagination and no telling what they would do with me but no one got sick and then just before the old Chief left I gave him a package tobacco and a lb of coffee and that seemed to fix it all night, so since then have painted one of the fellows in that queer costume and yesterday the Chief was in to see me and asked me to paint him in the costume he wore that night but the door has to be locked and the windows fixed so no one can look in. At present am painting a Moqui in full snake dance costume there are 4 different snake costumes and I have got Indians engaged for all four but it is the most sacred costume, they sprinkle the room with sacred meal (corn meal) and when they | ||
