Hall Farm Bromborough Cheshire Dec_br 11 1872 Dear Sarah If often troubles me to think that  I have been so long in acknowleging your king and affectionate letter, but I may as well not tory to make excuses with the exception of myself and son's unsettled situation. but now as Thomas has some over there, I shall most likely renew my correspondence. I feel much obliged to you for the full amount of family news you sent me. I was much pleased to read in Thomas' letter from Utica that your Father and Mother was there, and that my sister appeared stronger than he expected
