to write you these few lines
I take this present oportunity to write you these few lines to let you know that I am well and in hope this will find you the same I did not receive but one from home since I broke my leg and that was from you I heard that Bill wrote Aunt Mary Ann but she dont say a word about it dont you never write my leters in care of [[know?]] one again or if you will you might as well not write at all I don't know when I shall get them and be sure and spell the direction right
to let you know that I
am well and in hope this  
will find you the same I  
did not receive but one
