Dear Jennie and Anna,
Mother wrote a letter this morning to Uncle David, and I have just been writing a few lines in it to cousin Mary Ann. Mother received a letter from them a few days ago; Mary sent a very pressing invitation for her to visit them with father. I hope you will have a good visit there, girls, but dont stay long, do hurry home. Jennie, you do not know how I feel about you coming to Whitestown to teach. It seems too good even to hope for: so I try to let it rest and pray our good God to guide you.
