A few weeks since Prof. Sattelee of Rochester Collegiate Institute came here and wished that I would take charge of the Female Department in that Institution. If it had not been for Fanny I should have gone but I knew that she was poorly fitted to battle here alone and if we left then we should recieve nothing for what we had taught. So I gave up the situation. I had rather go West than any where else if providence shall open the way for me to do so. I thank you much for your kind offer of assistance in securing a situation.
