Claire is sick. Lizzie tries to be in the sitting room as much as possible when her father is here- because she says he seems to like to talk with her about her mother &c. They have been quite [[unclear]] about Claire but- she is pretty well by this morning and ready to run around some. Haltiehas a little cold and her throat is some sore-the others are quite well, This is a beautiful day-indeed they have only had fine weather all the time. I have been here, and the country around is lovely just now as everything is sprining into new life, Johny has promised to take me to the college today and visit the tower-Sarah has been there and she can tell what I shall see. Saturday I went with Haltie down town and got those [[unclear]] for Lizzie and a locket for Clair-all very [[melty]] I have not yet fot anything for Johny and Asia I will probably have that order changed
